Like most in his class, Kirk Carter loves camping out, skateboards and sports but unlike other kids, Kirk also has an important job to do. As well as school and normal family life, it's Kirk's mission to prevent Hokey Hill falling into the clutches of an evil genius... who just happens to live next door!
Ever since Viktor Strange and his family moved into the town, strange things have been happening in Hokey Hill and Kirk has taken it upon himself to investigate exactly what is going on. Making use of a sophisticated surveillance system of his own design, Kirk spies on his nemesis across the garden fence, piecing together Viktor's dastardly plot to take over the world!
Having replaced his parents with robots that are not unconvincing to anyone but Kirk (everyone is taken in by them!), Viktor has been working undisturbed on his plot from a garden shed. Could this be the secret entrance to his evil lab? Either way, Kirk has made it his mission to find out.
Despite all the evidence, only Kirk seems to believe that Hokey Hill is in danger from Viktor's creations. With Mom and Dad simply unable to see what's going on in their own backyard, it's down to Kirk to protect us all from the evil genius of Viktor Strange.
